Vision

KEVAD aims to advance education, training, and interdisciplinary research in the fields of social sciences, humanities, law, and cultural studies, and promote knowledge production relevant to global and regional challenges.

To support students, researchers, and teachers through scholarships, bursaries, dormitories, academic exchange, capacity-building, and leadership development, ensuring equal access to education for disadvantaged groups.

To engage in international cooperation with universities, research centres, NGOs, and civil society organisations, building partnerships for joint projects, cultural programmes, and humanitarian initiatives.

To promote legal and humanitarian advocacy on issues of Islamophobia, minority rights, displacement, occupation, and global justice, including the preparation of research reports, conferences, seminars, and publications.

To create platforms for dialogue by organising roundtables, symposiums, lectures, online expert series, and academic journals, amplifying voices of marginalised communities such as Kashmir, Rohingya, and others across South Asia, Africa, and the Middle East.

To develop inclusive and sustainable initiatives in education, climate justice, social development, and human rights, aligning with both local needs and international solidarity.

To uphold transparency, inclusivity, and equal opportunity in all academic, cultural, and humanitarian activities, ensuring that KEVAD functions as a mission-driven, research-based, and globally connected institution.

To amplify Kashmiri voices and safeguard historical memory through law, research, and academic initiatives.
